I recently changed the transaxle fluid, the book calls for 5 qts but only about 3 qts drained out so I refilled it to the proper dip stick level. What is the tranny fluid capacity.

Its probably five. The other two quarts are in the torque converter and really wont drain. If you filled it up to the correct level you should be fine.

it should take 4-4.5 qts of trans fluid and make sure you are using the correct type of fluid,the spec usually includes the drain for the diff fluid also. be careful some diffs have a seprate fill!
