Passenger window problems
My passenger window hasn't been working the past like 2 months. I tested the wires when it first happened and gave up. Today I did some more thorough testing and hooked up a hot and a ground to the wires going to the window motor itself. I know the motor goes up or down depending on the polarity of the current. So one way it goes down, the other way it goes up, or at least it should. And when I engage the switch, both wires going to the motor turn hot. Not one pos one neg. So I've found that it will go down, but switching the wires, it will not go up! I have the Chilton's manual and it doesn't tell me anything useful. Except it did tell me that the motor itself has breakers built into it. Does anybody know how to raise the window w/o using the motor?
