I have an 01 solara and need to replace the rotors, and the pads. I was thinking of getting drilled rotors. Does anybody know what brand to get, or where to get them on a deal? I have seen them on ebay for around $160.00 for the set, but have never heard of any the brands.

Ebay was where I got mine.

You could seach for the Brembo slotted rotors on ebay for $200 plus shipping, I think. Search under Is300, carmy as well because the solara have the same rotors as those.

Measure you search around, and find a best deal with free zinch to prevent rust later.

Btw, welcome to the forum.
Use the search funtion on top of the page to find out more about your 01 car. You will learn a lot about it.

Have fun.

Thank you very much. Would you happen to know what type of brake pads to run?

My friend, the search function is your best friend.

Anyway, I use Axxis Ultimate racing pads. The pads are good, but lot of dust.

Here is the link for the aftermarket pads that I've searched for you, make the decision yourself, look like the EBC Green is the winner.

upgrading brake lines to stainless steel braided brake lines are something you might want to consider as well.

Get slotted ones, and I'd suggest Powerslot rotors.

Get nothing but blanks.

All else are crap. Slotted will start cracking the edge of the pads.

Also, get EricSol's big rotor kit (let you use Supra TT rotors) and get SS brakelines. They make a world of difference.
