Three Solara Convertible Questions -

Looking to buy a 1st Gen / 1.5 Gen Solara Convertible, I have three questions for you guys.

#1 - I've seen in the 2001 brocuhure (at least that one) that an i4 convertible mileage was listed, however I've never seen any i4 convertibles, do they exist or were they offered and only special ordered making very few in the whole country.

#2 - Could you get the gold color with a tan top? I somehow think i've seen this but never for reasale.

#3 - Any differences between the 2000/2001 and 2002/2003 models other than the back lights? I can't say i've noticed much.

1. i4 convertible exists...i know i've seen them on roads.
2. don't know..it all depends on whats on teh market and how much are you willing to pay what YOU want.
3. differences are tails, head lights, fogs, corner lights, and front bumper cover......More importantly..the 4banger 5sfe in the 2000/2001 was replaced with the more powerful 2az engine. The 16' wheel in the 2000/2001 had balck center caps. The 2002/2003 had silver center caps.

Hmmm... I thought they only made the convertible in the 6. I know 95% of them must be SLE's, too. They made a SE conv., but it is rare.
The top color depends on the interior color. Gry or black interiors get the black top, the lighter colors get the camel top. The camel top shows dirt A LOT!! HTH.
