Does anyone with a Dealers manual know where does this part belongs to? I was taking my dash apart the other week and when putting back everything together i found out i have an extra piece of metal that and couldn't figure out where i got it from. pretty sure it's not from the driver side. anyway here is the picture of it

it looks like it would go on "under the dash" panel.

if you sit in the driver's side, it would go where your knee points.

I dunno dude. I've been under the dash many times and I can't say that I recognize this piece. But if it is under the dash somewhere, which is also what I suspect, the bolts would be a 10mm bolt if not 14mm. And if you don't see a place for it on the driver side, look behind the glove box, and if not there then look behind the center console/CD player etc.
Good luck, and I'll take a look under my dash to try to help you out in a few.
