Help!!! 1st accident and dealing with loss (my fault)?

i tried to pass an expedition but thrashed it with my driver's side mirror....damage appraised @2,500 for his ...about 1000 for my solara o1 any suggestions? ive already called the ins comp.....

sorry to hear that, if it's your fault, i hope you have full coverage to fix the car with just detct. otherwise, you have to pour 1k from ur wallet

friggin expedition was driving like a grandma...and didn't flash turn signal caught me im mid surge....ive got full coverage but my pride and my baby-solara is beat up..im so ashamed...yeah i cant even blame it on post-traumatic-combat-stress anymore....

police report...call insurace company...other than these, nada you can do if you admit it was ur fault....and at last repair the car..any witness or pictures? u know people can do anything to jack for $...

i feel you man, it's gonna be high for the next 3 years....


what's the exact damage? just the mirror? no scratches on door or fenders?

yah i know how u feel.. back in the day before i fell in love with my solara and i was an inexperienced driver i got into 2 accidents... all due to wreckless driving both my fault.. i regret it but i learned alot from it. i know now the limits of my solara.

Just get yo ride repaired and make sure you find a shop that's going to do good work and that they have lifetime warranty on their work.

GL and good thing you or the other party are not injured, that would have been more headaches. Trust me, I know from experience.

Update PICTURE THIS...just missed T-boning the Expedition ,missed the hood and driverside headlight.... but i did HIT the left turn signal+fender initially,most of the damage was done with the side mirror(solid steel) i wiplashed and hit the rear driver side fender above the rear tire slightly, i did some damage the front tire with the impact to his runnuningboard (which i pretty much shrreaded).... ...i know i fukked up.... but itwas kindof an ADREnaline rush.....is that bad? yes i did call my insurance comp...they be assessing the damage to the vehicles...any chance i might get the appraiser to Add the "body kit that "somehow dissapeared in the accident?.. (its all stock) or does any body in socal.....have a spare damaged or broken body kit...hint hint??????? i can't even drive my car in daylight its too embarrasing and disrespectful to my baby-solara ...than you guys for your support...Semper Fi
