Squeaky noise

Postby SleeperSolara » Thu Sep 09, 2004 7:41 am

Yeah that same thing happens to my 98 Camry, it makes this clicking noise on the right front side of the car. The dealer said it was the suspension, but it wasn't. I think it is the steering mechianism.

I clicking during turning is a CV joint going out. Usually caused by a torn boot causing dirt and sand to get in and ruin the joint.

Did you replace the "strut mounts" or "suspension supports" when you replaced your struts? These can cause squeaking or groaning when turning at slow speed.

No it isn't the CV joints, because they are still in good condition.
