Can anybody tell me if using a car cover is bad for the finish on a car? The cover is a very good one ( noah fabric) and custom fitted to the Solara.
I always make sure the car is freshly washed before covering. However, I leave it covered sometimes for a couple of weeks at a time. I only use the Solara on the nice days in the nice weather! :-?

ive always had one for my cars, and was going today to look for one. for the most part i cover it when its in the garage, if your car was wet then you covered it and had sun beating down on it, it could take some shine out of it after a period of time. are you ordering on online or did you find one in a store?

Covering it should be fine just be careful covering a dusty car as the dust can scratch.

everything scratches, even the water you use to wash your car. Auto detailing is a must every 2-3 years depending on how new you like to keep your car looking. But to answer your question its ok to use the car cover, especially if you dont have a garage.

The Solara must be your pride and joy to take care of it so well and to only drive it on occasions. :)

As long as you dont keep the cover on for prolonged periods of time, especially in moist conditions, it would be a good investment.

I just got a new car cover for my car. It's custom fitted and everything....it's pretty cool, they custom fitted it for my spoiler, mirrors, and even body kit...it took about a week and a half for them to ship it though....but it was worth the wait. It was kinda $$$ more than I really wanted to pay for a car cover...but they're suppose to be really good. Mine was $220 including shipping. It's from this company called COVERKING you can check them out @ http://www.coverking.com and I bought the STORMTECH model...cause the material is more weather durable. :D

yeah most companies use the Kimberly Clark material which is one of the most expensive you can buy. It's marketed under different brands.

Hey, I'm going to keep my car covered for 3-5 months. What's the best material to use?

As a rule of thumb, watch out for moisture. That seems to rot out the car. When usings car bras, moisuture will ruin the paint, so i'm assuming its the same for a car cover
