OH my. On the stock manifold of the V6 you know how they have this one thing on the side that looks like a gate. Not the trottle side but the oposite side..and when air pressure or somethng push on it the gate or what ever it do moves back and forth...well the pressure line that goes to it broke..how bad is this? what is it and what does it do? ASAP..DADS GOING TO KILL ME.....PLEASEEE ANYONE HELP..
I jsut found out what its call now.. Acoustic Control Induction System Vacuum hose..ACIS.......How bad is that?

It's just the ACIS vacuum line. Don't worry, just replace it, no damage.

ACIS (Acoustic Control Induction System) adds further refinement to the engine's performance by varying the lengths of the intake manifold tracts according to the throttle position, which, in turn, benefits torque output at low revs. Eighty per cent of the peak torque is available from 1 200 r/min.

That actuator you see on the passenger side of the intake is what varies the intake tract. It is operated by vacuum and controlled ny the ECU.
