what is Cylinder Head for??i saw an auction on ebay and the guy is selling a Cylinder Head.. :-?

It's the piece that seals the tops of the cylinders and houses the valves and injectors. and spark plugs. a 4 cyl. would have 1 head that covers all 4 cyl., same with all inline engines that you would find in a car.(large diesel engines can have a seperate head for each cylinder,minus the spark plug) A V-6 on the other hand would have a seperate head for each 3 cyl. on each side of the V block.
