im trying to hook up the light from my boost gauge and i dont know where to wire the power or ground to. i want the light to only be on when my head lights are on. any help?

Hook it into the gauge cluster power wire (green/silver wire if memory serves). This will require pulling out your cluster of course. Also, behind the cluster you will see a bolt that is perfect for grounding.

first off are you sure its the green one, second which of the 3 gauge cluster wire clips should i use.

Again, going from memory I believe it is the brown plug. Could someone confirm this? When in doubt, use a test light to see which wire gets the juice when you flip on the headlights.

Yes, it's the brown connector, and if you ground the new gauge to the black ground wire next to the green/silver power wire, you can dim the guage along with the dash lights. I like to use the vampire wire taps with the built-in female spade connector to tap into wires, don't like to cut wires, neater install.
