I drove for about a month before getting my CEL scanned because the car was driving normally. When I got my transmission fluid flushed today, the shop insist on scanning it for me. Here's the codes:

PO402- Excess EGR Flow
P1411- EGR Valve Position Sensor Range

My questions are:
How much does it cost to repair/replace this?
Is it ok if I just ignore it?

Thanks

Yes it is ok to ignore it, it just for air pollution control. However, if your state require smog check and you will fail it.

just check your EGT hoses and see if they are loosed or clogged.

it's pretty expensive on some cars... It's relatively cheap on the 1MZ though...

It's around 8 hours labor on a Land Cruiser :o

god damnn..8 hours! Hopefully it would be cheaper on the solara. I'm going to bring it to a local shop and let them check out the EGR valve and stuff. I update on how much it cost if I need to change it.
