Wood trim

Postby kld » Thu Sep 23, 2004 7:54 pm

My 03 has a small amout of wood trim, I really don't like it.The car is silver w/ dark charcoal interior and it looks funny to me. My question is what does it look like underneth the trim, if I take it off will there be glue marks and such?

Speaking of woodgrain...Anybody got any of the lighter colored 1.5 pieces that they would be willing to trade for the darker Gen 1 pieces? So far, no junkyard around here has a Solara, much less one that I need to look at...Thanks

Hey sleeper, what kind of paint did you use? I just bought some silver stuff from a hobby shop that said it was for plastics.

Ok so I really want to buy this carbon fiber wrap. But I have no clue how to install. Do I have to take the pieces off to wrap them? Do they break easily? What if I hate it does it comes off nicely?

Thanks

You know the pieces on the dash will pop off. Just use a panel puller or screwdriver and pry the piece off. For the pieces on the door, I pryed them off and it looks like they weren't meant to come off. But, they do 'snap' back in no problem. I'm in the process of painting them black sand pearl, since everyone seems to be doing the c/f thing. 8)
