CEL LIGHT concern

CEL LIGHT concern

Postby RichD978 » Tue Apr 05, 2005 2:35 pm

i got my cel light back on again. Funny thing is 2 days ago when i did states inspection they did a diagnostic with the obd reader and everything was fine. Then on my way home from work the CEL light came on. When i got home i checked the ODO it was around 70138 i believe. I disconnected the battery and turned the car back on and the CEL light was gone. Could this have been like one of those service reminders? or is something worng with my car?

Please help and Thanks,
Rich

RichD978,

Wait a few days and if it comes back you then may have a problem.. Often times those things can come on for a dumb reason like the gas cap not being tight..
