and the body work looks awesome. They still have two more days on my car but it looks like new (I love pearl white). When she comes home she is getting 18" TSW's on Toyo T1-S, euro clear corners, a new mesh grill, bottom grill, greddy exhaust, and all the badges have been taken off except for the Trd one on the back.

I love my car. I was seriously considering an Acura Cl Type-S before I looked at the Solara but for the price the Solara was loaded, all it lacked was the Acura's Hp.

Definately do the supercharger, best thing i have done to my baby so far. Are you getting the TRD badged TSW rims, because those are 17s or are you getting them direct from TSW. If you get them direct than there are better tires for the money. If not the T1-S are fine

Question, why Toyo T1-S? There are much better performance tires out there for the same price or less FYI. :)

I'm soo screwed....

Postby guest » Thu Dec 05, 2002 7:49 am

My Insurance company (Metlife) billed my accident in two seperate incidents and now I have to pay a $1000 deductable. I'm not sure who goofed up but I'm fighting these outrageous charge.

It was ironic I was going to buy the mesh grill from neil but now I'm really in a hole with this Christmas coming up and all. Oh well at least my baby home before Christmas (I was told last week I could pick up my car now it's taking longer). It amazes me how patient I have been.

I can't believe a got a promotion within my company. Now I can get a supercharger and pay cash on the modifications I mentioned above.

Flip what is good high performance tire besides Nitto?

Better Tires

Postby JMSinMD » Thu Dec 05, 2002 8:23 am

I have had Michelin Pilot XGT (14"), Yokohama Avids (15"), and my newest are Pirelli P7000 SuperSports (18") all season ultra high performance. They haven't disappointed me yet and can be picked up for about $160 each. Jon. btw, 320AA tread rating and 40k mileage warranty.

I pick T1-S because up here in Vancouver, Canada, it's rainy thru out the year. T1-S has better grip in wet than other performance tires IMO.
