Vinyl wearing on arm rest...stupid humidity :-(

I just bought my 2k Solara not just two or so weeks ago. It was 90+ degrees today with 50% humidity. I took my car too the fill up station for a vacuum and noticed the baise vinyl wearing on the arm rest. It was literally peeling off :(

Is there a product up there that allows me to paint it? Or can I get it re-vinyled? It looks like crap and I want to fix it some how. I have a BFA in design so I'm a pro at color matching - I'm a pro at touch up on the exterior paint. But this is vinyl so I'm afraid that mixing up paint and filling in the gaps might look ghetto :(

Any thoughts? Suggestions? I've only had the car for a couple weeks for christs sake! :disappoin
