I just recieved my shift knob but the hole is too small and the shaft is too big...what should I do? I was thinking of filing the shift knob to make it wider...any other suggesstions?

FWIW If it was me, I'd return it and buy one that was purpose built for my car. If you strip the threads on your the shifter, I can't imagine it'd be an inexpensive fix. Buy again, that's me. Your mileage may vary.

my shifter which is stock is now very loose when i throw it into gear... jsut started happening and i want it tighter hmm what happend
