possible tranny problem

I have V6 manual and it does the same thing. When it's cold it idles at about 1600rpm. And 900 when warmed up.

However, i have some problems with 3rd gear. I thought it was just my fault but now i'm not sure. When i shift quickly and dont pay attention, sometimes i dont move it enought to the right and it does not go into 3rd so i have to move it a lil back, then more to the right, and then forward into third.

Another is that when i move into third at some point i have to push it pretty hard to make it go in.

Does anyone have problems like this?
