:D I have one put on a while back. It was like $100 bucks for labor. Just if you did know, you will have to lose one of your keys to get the module to work. The key's chip will be needed to start the car... So IMHO, I'd suggest you get a spare key made for the remote start (programed) at the Toyota dealer). I hope this helps out and wish you luck Bro. :P

if you use Directed Electronic's (DEI) Bypass Module model no. 555X you won't have to sacrifice a key.

at the shop i work at we'd prolly charge anywhere from 150 - 200 dollars for the install with customer-provided products.

If you decide to get another chip-key made, I suggest NOT doing it at the dealer. I dont know what exact price you'll get in the 'Lanta, but the dealer price is likely to be well over 100 bucks.

An independent key-maker (like my girlfriend's dad) may have the equipment to program the key, which would only run about 40-60 dollars, total. Look into it, if that's hwo you choose.
