:D

Rod Millen was the sole designer of the project. 0-60 in 4.9 and that's not at the full potential of that 3S-GTE ST205 chassis.

What the new supra should have.....

Postby guest » Tue Oct 29, 2002 11:24 am

- Brembo brakes (cross drilled)

- your choice of a 300 Hp V-6 or 426 Hp V-8

- HID

- AWD like the Ultimate Celica

- LCD/DVD

- Borla exhaust system like on the suped up vette's

- 20" inch tires (either pilot, Toyo, or some high performance tire)

- HRE rims

What about it guys?

the new supra is sort of "delayed" in purpose. Since the "Z", Evo, RX-8,etc. are coming out one after the other, Toyota decided to postponed the new model's release for a couple of years,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, for a more dramatic entrance so to speak.

The supra will be rebadged as Lexus 4500 GT from what i've read here and there. Would you all still like the supra knowing that it could now be a v8! I'd still like something like a 3.5 v6! but then again, with scion and the new celica competing with the 350z's, (with the new celice engine), i guess supra's is going to be a different league!
Isn't that what caused the demise of the supra (too expensvie)...so why go that route AGAIN (making it lexus..and giving it v8's)??? That still confuses me! But then again, toyota always had a nack for defying the cirtics and going to the stars!
