I dont know if modifications come w/ the territory with problems, but since I've been thinking about it, every mod I've done to my car has given me problems. Whether it being installed professionally or w/ friends, all of my mods has given me problems.

1st mod: Bulbs - Blew out
2nd mod: Clear corners - Condensation
3rd mod: Indiglo gauges - Flickers at times
4th mod: GC coilovers - Sh*ttiest ride of my life
5th mod: Tokico/Eibach - Made thumping sounds when cornering
6th mod: Injen intake - Mpg went to hell
7th mod: Quantum Tint - Still has bubbles after 3x of getting it redone
8th mod: Greddy - O2 sensor wouldnt fit at first
9th mod: Cattman/Place Racing CAI - Problems...
10th mod: ViS Carbon Fiber hood - Got mysteriously unlatched while driving and left my windshield cracked:cry:

Anyone else encounter problems?

I got 5 points to make...

1. When you mod your car, you should NEVER expect your car to drive like OEM. It will never be the same...

2. Don't expect the aftermarket parts such as clear corners and CF hood to be OEM quality.

3. Seems like some of those problems are installation problem as someone said... Eibach/Tokico

4. Intake is useless, throw it away.

5. Which part of the tint are you getting the bubble? Is it the upper area of the rear window? If it is you CAN'T do anything about it. Upper area of the rear window has OEM tint (little dots), so the tint film can't stick to the glass 100%.

I've done a lot of mods to my solara and knock on wood, they've been good to me so far. Your gauges will naturally flicker a little bit, but it shouldn't be that noticable unless you have subs.
