I would suggest going back to Tire Rack like Jon recommended. That way you are asking tons of people who have tried the tires already and can see how they rated the tires. It's not going to make a difference because they are mounted on a Solara. Avon, who has been known for their motorcycle tires has recently started making tires for cars and people LOVE them! They are listed as the highest rated ultra-high performance all season at tire rack. Check out this link: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Avon&tireModel=Tech+M550+A%2FS

I bought a set for my son's Camaro and he loves them! -JoeB

I have the Falken tires that Consumer reports mentioned on my Honda Civic and they are very good tires. There is a bit of road noise but otherwise handle very well and hold up under heavy braking extremely well. I've put, oh I don't know, maybe 9,000 miles on them and they seem to be holding up pretty good. Even with a right front fork that is slighty out of wack. The key is the rotating of tires every other oil change.
