Adjustin' headlights.............

Adjustin' headlights.............

Postby SleeperSolara » Thu Sep 29, 2005 7:01 am

Well i was adjustin' my headlights yesterday.
Well not they shine up straight, but not that far.
My left passeger headlight i can get it higher.
But my driver is is a little lower than passenger.
Now i can move the adjustin' knob for the driver freely.
Is that bad for the driver headlight adjuster to move freely???
Cause it won't go any higher.
Help ASAP.

In all cars the left light(driver) is lower than the right(passenger). They do this so it is easier on oncoming traffic. I dont think you can make them balanced yourself.

the knob on the passenger side moves them both up or down..

the knob on the driver side moves them left to right.

does tht help?

Actually the driver headlight moved up alittle, then stopped.
The passenger is just slightly higher.
Wouldn't HID help better if i just leave it like that????

Well what should i do if the driver is over adjusted???
Just leave it like that.......

Yeah i know.
But in my dads car [which he has a 98 Camry] it shines further than mine and his are halagons, and mine are SliverStar H4's.
Mine are suppose to be brighter than his.
But his is just yellow like they are suppose to be cause they are halagons.
That wired though in my car it doesn't shine as far as the Camry.

haha brightness of the lights has nothing to do with how far it will go. . . Yes the driver side is suppost to be lower. . . If it won't go any more than it won't go anymore. . . If you get HID you will have to lower it because HID shine A LOT higher than halogens. . . When I first put in the HID and didn't adjust the headlights yet I would light up the back of people's head in the car infront of me. . . haha those people that cut me off couldn't stand being more than 15 seconds infront of me. . . but yeah I did re-adjust them now
