Does Your Cars Do This

I was wondering if this is an issue I should address. When I drive my car SOMETIMES at a traffic like when the car is at idle (750rpm) it drops down to like 500rpm. At this lower rpm I can feel my engine mounts vibrate. Also when all this is happening I do not have the AC on.

Do you have the SuperPro Poly bushings.
Cause i have that and when i'm idlein' at a the light my car shutters crazy. cause the movment of the engine transfer into the body of the car instead of the rubber mounts.

No I have the stock rubber bushings. Im actually not really consurned with the shuttering cause it only happens when it gets to a low rpm like 500 or less. But I was just wondering if the droping of 250rpms is a big deal or if all your cars do it. My friend who has a MR2 says that is normal on toyotas. He says the computer drops it that low to conserve gas. But I dont know if I believe that one.

What am i looking for on my idle air control valve? And where is it located? Im guessing its where some wires are going into the metal housing right after the platic tubing coming from the air box. If you have a digital camera on tap and some time that would help me out greatly. Thanks

Cool thanks Ill have to try that but I still need to know how to check the air control valve. I dont know what im checking for. And I dont know where the air control valve is on the car. Im guessing it is the area where that big box is attached to the air intake in between the trottle body and the air filter box.

Idle Air Control Valve is screw in right under the throttle body. . . My Idle used to kinda like yours and I used Sea Foam and now its fine. . . Check out their website for more information http://seafoamsales.com/motorTuneUpTechGas.htm

Ok so I used throttle body clean and cleaned the throttle body. And then I used the seafoam to clean the engine. The car has been idling around 600rpm. It may differ an insignifcant amount when both cooling fans come on. They turn on and off about every 20secs or so. Is all this normal?
