Passenger Headlight Out

Passenger Headlight Out

Postby thealkimo » Tue Oct 11, 2005 10:43 pm

recently my passenger hid went out and i found that one of the cables was rubbing against something hot and seared the cable down to a point where it can no longer hold electrical current...

and now i have removed the bulb and ballast to send back to have it replaced and threw in a stock halogen bulb and now that light doesn't turn on at all...

i checked the plug and its fine and then i checked the fuse and it appeared to be just fine...anyone know what is going on with this???

i checked the fuse near the battery and nothing appears to be wrong...

i mounted the ballast to the chassis near the abs and used plenty of insulation...

man, i hope toyota doesn't rip me off for this one if i can't get it figured out...

Check if the plug is all the way in.
Also the connection of the plug for those 3 wires.
That's all i can think of.
