The New Camry V6 is the 3MZ-FE.
During my 2nd trip to the LA Auto Show tonight (weds), I have confirmed that the new 3.3L V6 used in the 04 Sienna and 04 RX330 is the 3MZ-FE. The versions they both use are 5spd auto etc-i, VVT-i and only hold 230hp. I'm hoping they bump up the power for the 2004 Camry and new 2004 Solara to stay with the competition. The new chassis code should be either MCV40 or a variant like MCV31, 32 or 33. We'll just have to wait and see.
I do have pics of the new engine and the vaccuum routing diagram. Like the 02 Camry & ES300, it uses Iridiums standard. The new engine looks the same as the old...but using the newer engine cover style of the 02 ES300, but with VVT-i V6 3.3 .
The production RX8 was finally on the floor next to the concept RX8, as well as the new Acura TSX and a few other vehicles that were released first this week at Detriot. These vehicles were not available this past weekend since LA Auto Show opened prior to the NAIAS in Detroit.
