I just went outside to start my car to get something but i decided not to go so i shut off the car while it was still cold it was running for like 2 minutes so i shut it off and i felt the engine vibrate into the cabin it was like a diesel why is this happening? Thanks

^LOL Ive noticed you have posted a LOOOOOOOT about your starting/shutting off... youre car is FINE... if you want to be more sure, keep getting tune ups and do your usual maintenance

but to answer your question, even though you had just shut off your engine within 2 mins, the car may still be in the mode of warming up (revs higher)... by shutting it off while its warming up is like pulling the plug of a blender while its spinning!

dont worry though lol... until your car stalls on the fwy, THEN WORRY :o :lol:

Lol Thanks wtf. It does vibrate a little when its warm, im just worried about it. But thanks as for tune ups ive done as much as i can spark plugs, airfilter, throttle body etc. Should i do anything with the fuel filter?

How many miles are you at and what year? what engine? 5sfe (I4) or 1mzfe (V6)?

2000 just hit 100k like last week. 1mzfe which is the v6 sle.

Yeah change your fuel filter. . . also was your PCV Valve changed yet?

I took a look at it its the pvc next to the rear spark plug right? I dont think it has been changed. Where can i get one?

Toyota dealer has them for like $5.

I wouldn't worry about the car vibrating when you shut it off right away. That happens on my solara too, and its been doing it since day 1. Try not to make a habit of it though.
