that the stock potenza's were never ment to last over 22K miles! (geesh). Bought my car in Jan 2001...already at 22K...already need new tires.....How long did your stock tires last you (i know its also depends on driving attitude).

Im @31,000+ with my Michelins. They have atleast another 10 K in them.

I'm not a big fan of Bridgestone.

When I bought my Solara, the dealer offered "Wheel's for Life." Basically, when they decide my tires are worn, they replace "like" tires for free and all I have to pay for is installation and alignment. When I just cashed this in, they didn't have any "like" tires, so they upgraded me to Toyo TPT Proxes!

This is what I hate about the Solaras - I hate the interior wood trim. It reminds me of an Oldsmobile my grandparents drive. Wood trim is just plain ugly to me.

The wood trim on the door panels ties the interior together. I think it looks great.

i bought the car at 38k...and i really don't know if the previous owner ever changed the tires to tell you the truth. cause when i bought the car i knew they needed new tires..so at around 41k i just bought two new front tires.

The thing I hate most about Solaras is how the windshield and its surroundings are placed. Whenever theres water on it w/ the windows open, you get soaked. Or does this happen w/ all cars?

At first, I didn't like the wood trim too! But it grew on me! It enough to add some extra class to the Solara, but not too much to make it look like your grandparent's car hehehe. If you see the inside of a sc430... for my taste, it's way too much wood!

I haven't rotated my tires! Ahhh! Oh well... I'm already half way to 22k... maybe rotating them at 11k will still be ok? :D

Yeah...me tooo....from the car's i've owned (various cressida's, corolla, toyota crown, camry and es)...celica and solara's are the only two that I've had this with...I guess...it could be something with coupes and how they are designed! I hate it when that happens....(i've just learnt to use the wipers with windows closed to be on the safe side!!).
