Solara (in my opinion) are for the more person who want to get semi-luxury cars. Accords are for those seeking a nice safe two door coupe (I don't consider them luxury...but more practical). (thing is totally fliped up in UK...Only oldies drive Honda's there, and young folk drive toyota's...so my last comment was for states specific).
HP only sells cars, TQ is what win's at stop lights, Honda's in general have a low tq when compared to hp! Toyota's in general have a somewhat even distribution between hp and tq! so if your wondering which is better...Its hard to say...depending on what you consider better...better hp numbers, better tq numbers, better resale value's, better reliability, better aftermarked add-on's, or better leather seats?? Each car is unique but have a similar target market! Not to mention the new accord looks soo

(YUCK). i'd take then last gen accord coupe, the new one looks too much like a civic up front...but then again thats honda's philosophy..that all those civic owners have seasoned since their last purchase (civic)..and want something bigger (hence a more powerful accord!!).
