I had that same prob in my Integra. I had no idea what the problem was, so I had to take it to an electrical repair place. They fixed it in less than 2 hrs. I know it was probably something easy to fix, but like I said, I really didn't know what it was (still don't). Anyway, take it to a Toyota dealer, and I'm sure they'll be able to fix it easily.

Easier than anything...

You are low on Brake fluid.
Either go back to dealer if your car is under warranty or add it yourself. (DOT 3)

my mechanic just added some brake fluid for me..and it hasn't come on since. :D

(athough..doesn't that sorta scare you or paranoid you driving around w/ a light on that shouldn't be there? i hate that)

Low brake fluid. Use Dot 3 Brake fluid or better.

Yes its low brake fluid. In my case it was low because the brake pads were worn down from previous owner. When I took the test drive the light was on. The dealer (Chevy) told me he'll have it checked. He did and said nothing was wrong. Well, there was something wrong. When I need to use the brakes on the highway I did slow down but it felt like I wasnt. I brought the car to Toyota and they said the brakes were almost gone :(

Check the brake fluid but also have the pads checked. The fluid is down for a reason. Just make sure your braking isnt compromised.
