What kind of start up is it???
If you describe it then we can help better than that it is an ugly start up.

Get your starter looked at. I had to replace mine not even two weeks ago. It started making weird sounds when i would start the car and one day it burned out and started smoking. Luckily, it was just the starter smoking, and not my engine.

is it a rough sound? Does the car shake or vibrate at all?

It could be the battery and/or stater, along with many other things

Go to autozone and have them test your batter and starter, heck since your there have them check your alternator too =) Its a free service and at least you may get to the bottom of this...

Ooouch, hope you find the problem.

I would bring it into the dealer to get checked out or Autozone.

thanks guys.. i appreciate it.. especially im new at this maintaing the car and stuff.
but yah.. the car starts differently every now and then. I guess it depends if the engine is cold or not also. Sometimes it starts quicker than others and I dont notice any vibrations or shaking.

Heres my best suggestion for you:

Cheap mods? - lights, air filter, exhaust, etc..? NO - dont waste your time on that crap like I did..

Instead buy ur self a supercharger, a nice 150-200$ CAI, and boom ur done. Nothing else. You will be running good, and saving gas on the regular drives. All the cheap crap you will end up spending G's, mostly because you start with modding one thing, and end up wanting to do more and more and more, but what im trying to convey to you is go for the real good stuff, and waste your money in better fashion .
