Sounds like its their fault, why else would they offer to pay half??

Let us know the outcome.

Thanks guys for all your support~

They said they'll do a complete tear down to investigate the problem. But I will have them pay for all the damage anyway.

Get a lawyer and don't let them lay another hand on your car. I think the best solution at this point would be to arrange for them to make payment directly to the Toyota Dealer for any and all repairs. I personally do not let anyone other than the dealer touch the transmission.

You might want to look in your local yellow pages for a lawyer. I think its fairly reasonable... 100 bucks or so.

Good luck and sorry... not a good situation to be in.

I agree best bet is not to let them touch the car anymore. Bring it to Toyota and have them fix it no matter and let those guys pay Toyota.

Hi Guys,

As of yesterday, the store manager still refused to pay the entire amount. But somehow this morning, he decided to pay the full amount for the repair job when I asked him to show me a written letter from a third party transmission shop in Diamond bar. Thanks again for all your suggestions guys~ I seriously already prepared everything for small claim court lawsuit.

Also which Toyota dealer chargest 129 for the trans flush? my local deal charges over 200.

thanks again for all your support guys~ I can't be any happier!

What would I do in a situation like this.... I'd go take my ass and hire an attorney, and get the shop owner in court. Make him pay for damages incurred to my vehicle, repair cost, loss of usage, and mental anguish (say that cars your baby and you were in a state of depression , or some SOB ass story) They will think twice before they try to jack their customers again. Bodyshops/Auto Repair shops like that need to suck one hard and learn not to F*CK around!
