Hey guys I was wondering if the 1999 Solara is able to use the Mcculloch HID kit. Does anyone know the pattern to connect the wires by? for a 2000 I used top black and right white and I was wondering if it was the same for a 1999 or not?

Thanx
Dropped woohoo!

99-01 solara used the same 9003/H4 bulb.

I forget the wire colors... But yeah, you can use Mccullough HID kit on it.

I have a small project in mind later on, involving the foglights... he he he

Thats weird because the HIDs I have right now in my 2000 were from a 99 SLE and i didnt have to rewire.

It also doesn't make sense that they would change the wiring polarity for one year in the middle of a generation.

I didnt rewire anything... the slots to insert the blk and wht wires were different for my 2000

SolDoubt.... do you keep your old PMs? look for an old PM from me and see which way I plugged mine in lol... cuz before I plugged mine in, I checked in person with a 1999 and a 2001 (no one i knew locally has a 2k), which had the same pattern in blk/wht wires plugged in... so I figured my 2000 would be the same, but it wasnt
