Headlight bulb brightness not the same

Well, it's not necessarily brighter by any means under normal conditoins, but each headlight in left-hand drive cars has an intensity focus that's more directed towards the right. If you were to shine one headlight onto a wide wall (e.g. no light output from your left headlight), you will notice a pattern similar to this (in JDM or other right-hand drives it'll be the opposite):

_______,----------
...........X
_______________< Ground
X = Beam intensity zone (where most of the light is gathered)
EDIT: Ignore the red dots; the X stayed on the left side of the screen and messed up my beautiful diagram :P .

But it's not aimed any different; the intensity zones are still at exactly the same point, but the remainder of the light is controlled to have the left side of the intensity lower than the right. This was designed to still be able to give the driver maximum range without blinding oncoming traffic, but without messing with the circuitry or output of the lights and promoting uneven wear (e.g. having to replace your left headlight more than your right).

Now if we could do something about idiots who drive with their high beams on 24/7, people with lift kits or simply misaligned headlights, that'll be more helpful than this.
