So i read all the post about changing the light bulbs behind the guages and i was wondering could you just take off that green cover/film on the original bulb to make them light up white?

it wont be white... its a dingy yellow kinda like your stock headlights....

basically its NOT like white LEDs if thats what youre asking

I tried that on my Camry, and as WTF?? said, it's yellow. I ended up getting the LED's from http://superbrightleds.com/
