Fuel pump replacement problem
After all these years I finally got around to want to replace my fuel pump so I can possibly get rid of the CEL once for all. The 8 screws on the fuel bracket I just can't get them off. I got wd40, PB blaster, even bought Aerokroil (suppose to be the best) and I just keep rounding off the screw heads. It's not I don't have the proper tools. Sometimes the hardest part of upgrading for me is to loosing those damn screws. Anyone who got the fuel pump replaced had any trouble with the screws at all? I think at this point I may have cut the screws and use a flat head instead....not really fond of using a dremel tool around fuel tank... Any thought would be appreciated. TIA.
