Nice feature of the interactive and all, but I gotta say that the Gen1 looks like a Cavalier LOL. Too bad they didn't have a sampler of the Privat "Euro" rims, but MB Boost caught my eye the most if I had to choose between the few you provided (but then again I was struggling to get past the Cavalier lights so that may be biased LOL).
I used to have the 17x7 114.3 40mm offset Konig Tantrums. They were nice and light weight. The bad part was Discount Tire bending the rim while installing the Yoko ES100 shoes on the rims. The worst part was the car acident months later in the winter of 2004. I conpletely snapped the rim section right off the wheel. The car slowed down only because the spokes and rotors were grinding the road. Thank God I lived to tell the tail. Still miss the GEN1 everytime I see one on the street.
I like the Black rims on a White car look. The ASA AR1's would look sweet on a '99 Diamond White Gen1 IMO. Check these out (below)

Yup!
People don't realize how much R&D a OEM goes through to design a nice or ugly wheel. Lots of testing is involved in stress, material research and manufacturing process. If it were an OEM wheel (or simular in quality aftermarket wheel) the wheel would have just bent and not fracture like the photos shown above. I learned my lesson. Thick spokes and forged is the way to go. Ray's TE37's
what do yall think would look better on a white solara....talkin bout the konig trouble wheels....either quicksilver w polished lip or graphite w polished lip...
