battery water

So the drama that was my electricals is over, all because this damn vegas heat evaporated the water in my battery.

I took it to checker and had them test my battery while my car was running since if i turned it off it would of had to be jumpstarted again.. anyways it read 13.8V.. so i was like.. okaaay its not the battery... alternator? hence the asking for alternators etc.. but what i was confused about was if it was my alternator.. why does my car still run? so it had to of been the battery and the dont-know-nothing checker employee's fault.

i was just about to take the battery out to get a new one and i noticed the wells.. i totally forgot they were even there... and lo and behold = dry.. i put water in it, charged it for about 2 hrs and now its running and starting on its own again. so long story short.. check the water in your battery!

I'd pull the battery out and look underneath to make sure there isn't a leak. Otherwise, glad to hear tis a simple fix.

What battery do you have? I thought the days of water-needing batteries were over. Then again, I don't follow batteries too much except for the fact that Optima is the big sheeit in batteries and I have Duralast Gold.
