hey guys i found a 96-97 avalon in a local junkyard...can i rob some part off of it for my solara...i was thinking about getting the knock senors, maybe the intake (for some polishing projects)...what do you guys think....it was wrecked in the back, but it only has like 96k in the speedo! what do you think?

if its got the dual throttle bodies i would take those see if you can swap yours out

The Avalon/Camry/Solara from that era all share something like 90% of their parts. My suggestion would be to grab a Haynes Repair Manual for the 1997-2001 Camry and see which parts are interchangeable (it'll also make for an easier time pulling said parts off).

I don't know if the head lights swap, but I would grab those to try the black-out. I would also check to see if the sunglass carrier thing is included. If anything you could see that on ebay.

the headlights are bigger in avalon's...i used to have one!
