saying goodbye to the solara

There are other small cars out there that get better gas mileage. But that looks nice.

I'm sure Kia has gotten better, just like Hyundai (sp?) did. When Hyundai first came out, their cars didn't last, paint jobs were awuful, but they have gotten better. The same seems to go with Kia.

Florida is hard on cars, because of the heat and humidity...the sun will KILL a bad paint job. You don't see many older Kias around here, mostly because they are dead...but the newer ones seem to be holding up much better.

With you being in So FL, I'm sure you know what I mean.

i figured people were going to think that but hey thats his opinion. to pay 65ish to fill up kind of sucks majorly. With all the driving back and forth to tampa this was worth it in my eyes. I like it, you dont have too.

anyway, the only thing that was on the car was the muffler. i have the wheels, i will post pics soon. I do not have a price yet. Ill let you know.

WTF?? Heres the video

Yo, I don't blame you at all, when I wrecked my first Solara I was almost set in stone ready to do the same thing man. Not even like it'll still be sort've fast and I Can mod this and that type deal, just stone cold get out of cars for a while and save money and crap. Truth be told, it's what I should have done. The route I went to get where I am now was very expensive and I tossed a lot of money away I didn't need to.

Honestly it's a good idea. And since it's a new Kia (or at least I think) you shouldn't have any problems with it breaking down and crap. I still think your best bet would have been an 01+ hyundai elantra GT. That's the car I was looking at. Leather, alloy wheels, and more and you can pick one up with low miles for a decent price. I was in the dealership with the paperwork in front of me ready to go, and then decided to hold off last minute. I found my next Solara on ebay that night and the rest is history.

Good luck with everything bro, goin back to school and what not soon, I can't blame you anyhow to want to just have a car that goes point A to point B. Hope everything goes well.

WOW, is gas that expensive in SO FL? I filled up today (Orlando), with 93 octane, $45.05. Gas light was on...tank lasted 9 days.

$65 is MAD!

I like it, not a fan of Kia but yours sure is nice :)
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.
