Headlight housing HELP

Postby Guest » Thu Mar 27, 2003 7:05 pm

I think my right side of my headlight housing has a crack somewhere bc every morning i come out to start my car the right side headlight is all fog up inside. Another thing is my HID bulb dead again on that side. First replacement was free but this one i have to paid 100 dollars for a new one. Could that be the reason y the bulb burn out? the left side been in there more than a year now with no problem. What should I do? Thanks

After deciphering the poor grammar of that post  , it sounds like you do have a crack or a leak of some sort in the housing. Do you have a HID system or just bulbs? (Ie - silverstars). Sounds as if the moisture in the light wet the bulb connector and probably burned it out.

^ i didn't think the grammar was bad at all IMHO. (shrug) anyway...i think flash may be right. after you remove the bulb, check the plug/socket for any moisture... what brand HID kit is that?
