Cig Lighter

Postby gnaw divad » Wed Mar 26, 2003 6:32 pm

For some reason my cig lighter does not come out !! Its just stuck in the hole.... i've tried everything but breaking it.. dunno if its happened to anyone else but i need some help..

Also, I purchased the charger a while ago but am still contemplating on whether i could handle the job myself, i've heard both sides, that its pretty easy but if you mess up... ur in a lot of trouble. I also wanted to put the 6psi or the 5.5 psi pulley in but i've heard i should use the 4psi for a while until my car gets used to it.. what do u guys think??

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Well personally I wouldn't tackle the job myself. If you get it installed by the dealer you retain the 5yr/60k mile, if not its only a 1yr warranty. Start with the 4psi and see how you like it. While you don't need to, its reccomended that you upgrade your spark plugs and wires with the charger and get an S-afc to safely handle the boost. I would get the 2.9" 5.5psi pulley.

What you heard about your car getting used to it is a myth but since your charger is brand new, you might wanna break it in a little bit with the stock pulley, especially if you have trouble with installing it and something goes wrong.

hey ....at least you got a cig lighter to look at! When I got my car. IT WASN'T EVEN THERE. I asked the dealer....they said....should be in the car somewhere. Losers.....I'll get one later for emergency purposes.
