Long term memory loss much? Car ain't been out THAT long
And Ahhhhhh, the sign clipping mod. I got luckier with my first wet pavement RWD high speed cornerning lesson, no urbs or anything. the way I try and avoid it is obviously be careful ni the rin, but think of your car not as somethign that can fit through things as wide as the car is, but rather things as long as the car is. I know it doens't really make sense, but I try and have an idea about me of what would happen if the car slid out on any corner. I still don't have it msatered by any means, but now I don't have those sliding incidents and if I do they're ever so small and well controlled. Almost nailed a curb swinging the backend out on a u-turn taking a buddy for a ride when I swung too far back to other way. You jsut have to realize you have a decent amount of power under those wheels, and once it's lost (not on the ground) it makes handling the car a whole new ballgame. I was ony pushing the gas in 3rd gear at a pretty low rpm going around a corner the first time I ost the back end, and it really took my by surprise. It happens a lot when peopel go from front to RWD, it's an entirely different feeling and you have to realy get in tune with the car to know what's going on. Using the seat, the steering wheel, the pedals, your gauges, and listening tell you everything about the car, and you'll learn when crap don't feel right and it's about to go wrong.
Now screw all that other crap I just said, you don't need to read it, go turbo the bitch!
