if i buy a hid ballast and bulbs, does anyone know where in chicago i can get them installed?

Make sure you get the reputable ones like Philips, OSRAM, or Hella, and not flimsy ones from eBay. Most retrofit ones will not have auto-leveling feature, so you may blind oncoming traffic. Why not just install it yourself? It isn't too hard to connect some plugs up. Then figure a way to mount and secure the ballasts. IMO, HID on reflective lenses are counterproductive, whereas projective lenses could really benefit it most. You will lose high or low beam, unless it's an actual H4 HID kit. Sorry, can't really think of any Chicago shops that would do a good job. The best work is always self-propagated.

No, I have not, since I didn't consider any HID upgrades for my car(s), nor any of other guys I know. We've just stuck to the OEM or imitations. :D But if you get it, I can help out with the installation. It'd be a nice day-project.
