Coin Box - a TSB?

I swear i read that there was a technical service bulletin for the mis-aligned coinbox, but I can't seem to find it on Alldata. Am i imagining this? Thanks

I found the TSB but it was for a 99 solara. I have a 2001 SE. Does this mean that the TSB doesn't extend to my year (b/c its not listed under the 01 year). Problem is i still have a misaligned coinbox

it is, 6.5k miles, a pup in toyota years. That blows if it is not applicable considering the problem persists in my model year.

since your car is still under the basic warranty, a toyota dealer should still fix it even though there is no TSB. not every repair has to have a TSB!

whats a misaligned coinbox? To the left of the steering wheel, that coin tray that leads to the fuse box doesn't sit flat, is this what the TSB is refering to?

You aren't the only one with that problem. That's with EVERY Solara ever made. Even the glovebox doesn't sit flush.

I had the same problem with my Gen4 as well. It turns out that if you pull the metal clip up a bit, it will grab the panel better, more flush. No problem with the glovebox.
