Your intake is probably causing your problems. Have you checked to see if all the hoses on it are secure...and if the filter media is damp at all? Usually intakes during foul weather cause your MAF to have erratic readings, which in turn causes your engine to run erratic as well.

The problem had gone away for a while and came back on yesterday this time worse, the idle is dropping to 500 then rev up to 800 , and wen i hold it steady its like dropping out? IS this the fuel injection? I just went to pep boys and put some of that atp stuff in and it hasent done anything??

This is a shot in the dark but try putting back your stock airbox. It doesn't sound like a fuel injector problem

Actually it probably is your intake. I have an 01' civic with AEM cold air intake and last year when it was raining I went through some water on the road and my car all of the sudden started running funny. I pulled the filter out and let it dry overnight in the house and also took off my distributor cap and whiped out all the condinsation. The next day when I started up my car she ran just like new and I have not had any problems ever since.....

Could be a faulty MAF sensor or even your timing could be off. How many miles do you have now and when was the last time you had a tune up with plug change?

this is also in the dark.. but my dad just recently somehow got water into his air filter box and the car started to idle funnie.. it would idle at about 700 then rev to about 1500 then drop... and rev again and continue for a while.... some water mite have gotten into ur intake system and its causing this.. give it a couple of more days until all the water is dry or flowed thru your system and it should be fine.... after a week or so my dads car stop doing when he dried the air box out...

give that a shot...

I have had the same thing happen... I went threw a puddle of water, not real high, but some of the water from the wheel sprayed my intake I think.. and it seemed really rough.. it started to vibrate real loud... I think some water got onto the air filter, and the engine still pulled air into it.. but it still made the sound until the water drifted off..
Just a thought
