junk yard if they give you warranty (some do, some don't). Dealership will rape you. If you really want new parts, ask around here or talk to the asian dude who goes by the name turbo_prelude on HI, he gives me great deals on my filters, etc.

OMG mine just went out on Saturday. What a headache. My ride was going through the carwash, when it comes out to be dried.....i see my car is full of water/hot wax, INSIDE!, and then one of the workers goes to pull down my window. it goes half way and it stops, he makes a wierd face and scatters, I walk over, press the button.......NOTHING!......... I was pissed.

Long story short (even though it wasn't their fault ) I blamed it on them, got legal on them, got sent to a local shop, and the Car Wash owner agreed to pay for the fix in order to keep me as a customer.

the regulator straight from Toyota = $118
Installed= $200

After the carwash owner heard that, we came to the agreement, that I pay half. still sucks for it to go like that. I'm having no luck with the car, I'm really thinking of trading it in.

are you sure it's the regulator, and not the motor itself?

usually when your window won't roll down/up anymore it's either the motor itself, or it's the regulator.
