1999 SLE radio display light out

1999 SLE radio display light out

Postby pvanbuskirk » Thu Dec 28, 2006 5:45 pm

Hi. I've searched for an answer to this but came up with nothing.

In my 1999 Solara SLE I have a light out on my radio, which is either a Type 3 or Type 4 from the manual. The light is the one that illuminates the display (shows the time, radio station, etc.).

I haven't checked my fuses, could it be that? (seems unlikely to me)

If not fuses, is it possible to replace the lamp(s) inside the radio?

Thanks in advance for responses.

Sorry, good question. Yes everything else on the device appears functional and all of the other display lights illuminating the buttons work.
