i was told today by the shop that i need to get my fuel injector cleaned. is this something that i can do by myself? have anyone used fuel injector cleaners at the local auto shops??

they have them everywhere! I like to use seafoam brand when things get really dirty. After every oil change, I usually put in the chevron techron cleaner stuff. Works wonders. Just pour in your gas tank and done.

I have always used seafoam or lucas in the car. On my motorcycle board EVERYONE uses Techron about once a month.
