Hi everyone I just removed my sunroof visor and there is like a permanent ring where the rubber sat on the car. Is there anyway I can get it off? I washed wax and tryed to scrub but it realy only faded it a little. Anyone else ever have this problem? Tks for any info on removing it ~Marshall

The permanent ring is probably actual physical paint damage. The only way to get that off is to get it sanded down and refinished. That's the problem with adding accessories like that...it does more harm than good.

I've had the same problem after I removed my mudgaurds. Left an outline of where they covered

Yes. It's an exterior plastic accessory that expands/contracts/vibrates from resonance and wind drag. Of course it will do nothing but scrape up the paint.

On the rings on the sunroof if you wet sand it with like 1500 grit wet or dry sand paper then you can buff it and wax it and it should come out

If the paint damage is to the primer...you can't save it.
